oh hey blog.
so after taking some time to move 700 miles back to my home state, start a new job, and begin working on my new, much larger apartment, i thought i'd unload a little political opinion on the internet.
well, things have changed since i was last here, and we're inching closer and closer to GOTV. i am now, obviously, voting for obama. i wasn't jumping up and down pumping my fists when clinton conceded, but i can handle the situation. it's not like his stance on issues important to me differs so vastly from clinton that it's a difficult transition. i'm even adjusted to the idea of joe biden as a vp.
however, what i find baffling and almost comical is mccain's choice of palin for vp. we are literally a heartbeat away from a pro-life, 18 months in governor of alaska (i'm sure its a beautiful state, but seriously. the amount of people in the town where she was mayor is less than what rides the train in chicago every day.) who has no foreign policy experience and has never served at the federal level becoming the first female president of the united states.
it's enough to make me want to quit my job, go to law school, and run for office.
if they win, i will go crazy.
